Long Description
This authentic and elegant saree is a product of traditional Indian craftsmanship, originating from the Bagru region of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is woven from Kota Doria fabric, a fine blend of cotton and silk threads that is known for its lightweight, sheer texture and characteristic square-check pattern called khats.
The body features a natural white or off-white base adorned with intricate pink and green floral patterns created using time-honoured hand-block printing techniques. These techniques include Bagru print (using natural, vegetable dyes) and Dabu print (a mud-resist method that produces unique, slightly cracked lines and textures). The motifs often include traditional paisley, floral, or geometric patterns, and the saree is often bordered with a subtle gold zari edge. It is a versatile choice, ideal for casual wear, office wear, or small gatherings, and comes with an unstitched running blouse piece that can be tailored to the wearer's preference.
